The foundation celebrates the graduation of two of its beneficiaries, Minnie Mbaabu and Angela Mwanzia. Minnie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environment while Angela graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education. For them, these were dreams come true, and that’s what the foundation is there for – helping children realize their dreams by paying their tuition, room, and board.
Joshua Kasyoka is cared for by his aging grandmother and joined the foundation in 2014 as a senior in high school. After sitting for the final exams, he scored very poorly and could not be admitted in university. After Monica, the Founder and President of the Foundation, learnt about his performance, she called him and asked him if he would be willing to go back to school and improve his grades. Joshua did not hesitate and indicated he was ready to go back to Form Three, which is the equivalent of junior high, work harder, and aim at a better score.
Joshua completed high school last year and performed very well and has joined the University. It is a great joy to see young men and women from poor and needy homes take steps towards changing their lives.
We appreciate every donation and make sure that it goes straight to helping a child in need achieve their dream of a high school diploma! Thank you for your gift!
